Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, and server logs. They help sites work, remember preferences, understand performance, and protect against misuse.

Pines Design uses Termly as its consent-management provider. Termly's banner, preference center, and AutoBlocker store and apply your consent choice in this browser. Essential technologies remain active because they are needed for consent storage, site delivery, security, form operation, and basic site function.

Termly is configured for opt-in consent in every published region, with Accept, Decline, and granular preference controls and no consent through scrolling. Non-essential technologies remain blocked unless you permit the applicable category.

Termly groups technologies into Essential, Performance and Functionality, Analytics and Customization, Advertising, Social Networking, and Unclassified categories. Essential technologies are always enabled. Every other category is optional and disabled until permitted.

Unclassified means Termly has detected a technology that has not yet been assigned accurately. Pines Design reviews scan results rather than treating an unclassified item as Essential.

Termly consent storage is active to save and apply your choices. Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and may use strictly necessary security technologies when needed. The contact form uses server-side Cloudflare D1 and short-lived KV rate limiting; it does not require an optional browser cookie.

Cloudflare appends a Web Analytics beacon tag to the production HTML, but the site's Content Security Policy does not permit that origin, so the beacon cannot execute. The site does not currently run third-party traffic analytics, product analytics, advertising pixels, marketing conversion tags, support chat, social widgets, embedded media, review widgets, or testimonial scripts.

The latest Termly scan detected two Essential technologies and no optional or unclassified technologies. TERMLY_API_CACHE is browser local storage used to remember the consent result and improve banner performance; Termly reports a duration of about 12 months. csrf_token is an HTTP cookie used to protect consent requests against cross-site request forgery and malicious requests; Termly reports a duration of about 30 days.

Both items support the consent mechanism and remain available without optional consent. The initial Pines Design server response does not itself set either item. Scan results and durations can change when Termly updates its service, so Pines Design reviews fresh scan results when the site or consent service changes.

Termly selects a published regional configuration and uses a conservative opt-in posture in every region, including its global fallback. Consent is not inferred from scrolling.

Pines Design does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or run targeted advertising, so a separate GPC-driven sale or sharing opt-out is not currently applicable. Optional technologies still require affirmative category consent.

You can reopen Termly's preference center at any time through the single Cookie Settings button in the footer. You may accept all optional categories, decline them, or make granular category choices. Withdrawing consent blocks future optional activity in the affected category.

Withdrawal does not necessarily delete data previously stored in your browser. You can remove that data through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting Essential technologies may affect site functionality or prevent Termly from remembering your choice.

Pines Design does not sell personal information, knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or run targeted advertising. If future tools change that conclusion, Pines Design will update Termly, this policy, and any required opt-out controls before those tools are enabled.

We may update this Cookie Policy as technologies or site features change. The updated date shows when this policy was last revised.
